How it's used correctly
Retest entries give defined risk and confluence with role-reversal. Most clean breakouts retest before continuation; entering on retest beats chasing the breakout candle.
Common mistake
Demanding a perfect 100% retest. Many real moves only partially retest. Use the structure of the broken level + LTF rejection, not a precise price match.
