Framework — multi-confluence
Multi-Confluence A+ Setup
5 confluence layers stacked: HTF bias + sweep + displacement + FVG + MSS. The textbook A+ setup.
Move runs to opposing liquidity. Five confluences aligned: HTF bias + sweep + displacement + FVG + MSS.
Power of 3 (AMD cycle)
Accumulation, manipulation, distribution. The shape of every meaningful trading day.
Move runs to the opposing liquidity pool — the day's true direction is revealed.
Optimal Trade Entry (OTE)
Optimal Trade Entry — 62-79% retracement zone with confluence inside.
Run to next opposing liquidity. OTE entries typically deliver 2R+ when paired with confluence.
ICT / Smart Money
Fair Value Gap (bullish)
Sweep, displacement, 3-candle gap, return into the gap, rejection, continuation.
Continuation past the recent high — gap held as support.
Bullish Order Block
Last bearish candle before the impulsive move up — defended on return.
Move resumes in the original impulse direction.
Liquidity Sweep + Reversal
Equal lows form a stop pool. Sweep clears them; reversal candle reclaims.
Move runs to opposing liquidity (highs above).
Reversal patterns
Head and Shoulders
Three peaks, neckline, body close below, retest, target = head height projected.
Head height projected from the neckline. Take partials, trail the rest.
Inverse Head and Shoulders
Mirror of H&S. Buy the retest after the neckline break.
Head depth projected up from the neckline.
Double Top
Two equal peaks, neckline trough below, break + retest = bearish reversal.
Distance from peak to neckline projected past the break.
Double Bottom
Two equal lows, neckline peak above, break + retest = bullish reversal.
Distance from low to neckline projected up.
Continuation patterns
Bull Flag
Sharp pole, tight downward consolidation, breakout in pole direction.
Move resolves to ~the same distance as the pole.
Bear Flag
Sharp red pole, slight upward drift, breakdown to target.
Continuation matches the pole's range.
Compression patterns
Ascending Triangle
Flat resistance + rising lows. Pressure building under a ceiling.
Body close above resistance. Target = widest part of triangle.
Descending Triangle
Flat support + falling highs. Pressure building above a floor.
Body close below support. Target = widest part of triangle.
Symmetrical Triangle
Both trendlines converge. Trade the break, not the prediction.
Body close beyond a boundary. Target = widest part of triangle.
Rising Wedge
Higher highs + higher lows narrowing. Bearish reversal bias.
Often runs back to the start of the wedge.
Falling Wedge
Lower highs + lower lows narrowing. Bullish reversal bias.
Often returns to where the wedge began.
