Market Structure

Lower Low

(LL)

A swing low below the prior swing low. Confirmation of bearish continuation.

How it's used correctly

An LL after a clean LH = continuation confirmed. Trail stops above the most recent LH on shorts.

Common mistake

Calling a sweep wick a 'new LL.' If price wicks below but closes back inside the prior range, structure didn't break — it just hunted stops.
